Volunteer Committee Project NOV 8th

The volunteer committee would like to ask for your participation in a community service project.  We are asking interested members to bring non-perishable food items that can be made into food boxes.  We ask that you bring items to compose a meal, for example a box could be composed of a loaf of bread, peanut butter, and a bag of oranges or a canned ham, can of veggies, and a bag of rice.  Please keep in mind that any non-perishable items are helpful and will be put to good use for those in need, so don't hesitate to bring whatever you can.  Also, consider adding into the meal powdered milk.  These items would compose an entire meal for those in need.  The items will be put together in boxes and donated.  The overall goal for this project is helping to feed those in need during times other than the holidays.
