January Winter Chapter Meeting

Please come join our chapter for our January meeting!! Starting at 10 am, Baxter will be providing a 1 hr continuing education presentation for 2.0 CEs courtesy of Pfielder. Following education is a sponsored lunch and then we will have our business meeting. 

Objectives:

- Upon completing this module, attendees will be able to identify key safety and cost concerns surrounding the intraoperative transfusion of blood and blood products.

- Describe effective intraoperative patient blood management strategies.

- Differentiate among the types of topical Hemostatic products and sealants

- Explain the importance of using a validated bleeding scale to assess and compare the effectiveness of intraoperative Hemostatic interventions
